On a recent visit to Vicksburg, Mississippi, I had a fortuitous meeting with @suzialtman, a photographer that has spent the last few years trying to save the folk art site known as Margaret’s Grocery.
At the end of last year, I spent a few days in the small towns south of Cleveland, Ohio. It’s a region with history, home to Amish communities, and Hollywood. The Shawshank Redemption was famously filmed here and at Malabar Farm, pictured above, Humphrey Bogart married Lauren Bacall. Read more about these charming towns today on @10best.
In March, I got to visit the @memphislisteninglab, an incredible collection of rare music. It’s open to the public to listen, set inside the Crosstown Concourse. I’m so excited to share this special place for @gardenandgun. Read the story in my profile link.
